I am the son of a PCA pastor and the second of my parent's 4 children. I grew up in South GA, but my family moved to Budapest, Hungary when I was 16 years old as missionaries with Serge (formerly World Harvest). I grew up learning how to speak publicly through 4-H's leadership development program. It was merely something to do at that time, but it is clear to me now that the Lord was preparing me even from my childhood to serve His people. After receiving a wonderful education from Covenant College and spending a few years in small business management, I began to sense a desire for pastoral ministry. I started teaching high school youth in Anderson, SC and never looked back. The Lord has confirmed time and again that pastoral ministry is where He is leading my family, all the way until now at the end of seminary.
We love spending life with close, intentional relationships, through the good and the bad times. There is not much greater joy for our family than hosting people in our home, and sharing our lives around our dinner table. We hope to find a place of ministry where we can invest in a loving fellowship, and proclaim the kingdom of God to the surrounding community together.
